Norwich has been part of our story for years. We grew up nearby, spent plenty of time there as teenagers and first met as a couple on nights out at The Waterfront. Since then we have worked here, celebrated here, got married ourselves at Norwich Castle, and now get to rediscover the city through our children. Norwich has been woven through so many different chapters of our lives, which is why there’s always something particularly special about bringing Williams & Rose to events here.

It’s one of the things we love about Norwich: you can have a wedding surrounded by centuries of history, a Christmas party or charity ball in the heart of the city, or a completely contemporary corporate event, all within a few streets of one another. Norwich is a wonderful place to get married — something we know personally, having celebrated our own wedding at Norwich Castle nine years ago.

One of the things we love most about weddings in Norwich is how much of the city can become part of the day itself.

Some friends of ours did something we still wish we had thought of for our own wedding — after their ceremony at Norwich Castle, they walked through the city to their reception at The Halls, stopping at Norwich Market for churros along the way.

It was simple, completely personal and such a lovely way to make Norwich part of the celebration.

With historic buildings, independent businesses, the market, cobbled streets and some beautiful venues all within walking distance, Norwich gives couples plenty of opportunities to create a wedding that feels genuinely connected to the city.

Before Williams & Rose, we both spent years working in corporate roles across Norwich and Norfolk — Georgia in finance and David in construction project management — so Norwich has been part of our working lives for a long time too.

Aviva Charity Gala — The Assembly House, Norwich

Held at The Assembly House in the heart of Norwich, the Aviva Charity Gala brought together our Mirror Booth, Gold Shimmer backdrops and entrance draping to create a polished, celebratory feel throughout the evening. It’s a lovely example of how several Williams & Rose elements can work together across one event.

RNAA & NCF Glitter Ball — Norfolk Showground, Norwich

Held at the Norfolk Showground just outside Norwich, the RNAA & NCF Glitter Ball brought together a bold mix of photo booth experiences, shimmer, holographic finishes and bespoke disco ball installations. It’s a great example of how several Williams & Rose elements can come together to create a cohesive, high-impact event experience.

Williams & Rose were absolutely fantastic to work with. Their support, professionalism, and genuine enthusiasm made such a difference to our event.
