Held at The Assembly House in Norwich, the Aviva Charity Ball brought guests together for an evening of celebration and fundraising in one of the city’s most recognisable venues.
For the event, we provided a combination of Mirror Photo Booth, Gold Shimmer backdrops and entrance draping, creating different moments throughout the space while keeping a cohesive feel across the evening.
A Beautiful Setting for a Charity Gala
Set within the elegant surroundings of The Assembly House in Norwich, the Aviva Charity Ball provided a beautiful backdrop for an evening of fundraising, celebration and entertainment.
For the event, our Mirror Photo Booth was paired with a Gold Shimmer backdrop, while additional Gold Shimmer styling and soft entrance draping helped carry a cohesive look through different areas of the venue.
It was lovely to see several Williams & Rose elements come together in such an iconic Norwich setting, creating moments for guests to enjoy from arrival through to the evening celebrations.

THE MIRROR BOOTH EXPERIENCE
Our full-length Mirror Photo Booth gave guests an interactive photo experience to enjoy throughout the evening.
Paired with a Gold Shimmer backdrop, the booth created a polished photo area that worked beautifully with the atmosphere of the event, while professional photography and unlimited instant prints gave guests something to take away from the night.
The Mirror Booth uses a professional Canon DSLR camera, studio lighting and DNP professional printer to create bright, flattering photographs rather than relying on a tablet or webcam-style camera.
Guests could enjoy the booth throughout the evening and take home unlimited instant prints, creating both an experience during the event and a physical keepsake afterwards.
GOLD SHIMMER THROUGHOUT THE EVENT
Gold Shimmer was used in more than one part of the celebration, helping different areas of the event feel connected.
Alongside the backdrop behind the Mirror Booth, another Gold Shimmer installation created a statement feature around the stage, catching the event lighting and adding movement and reflection to the room.
Using the same finish in different ways created a subtle visual thread through the evening without every area feeling identical.
CREATING THE ARRIVAL
The experience began before guests reached the main event space.
Soft entrance draping helped transform the arrival into the room, creating a more considered transition into the evening and adding a sense of occasion from the moment guests entered.
It was a simple detail, but one that helped set the tone for what followed.
Events like the Aviva Charity Ball are always the result of lots of different people bringing their own part of the evening together, and it was a pleasure to be involved in this celebration at The Assembly House in Norwich.
We also had the pleasure of working alongside F Stop Films, who captured the event on film, and Goldsmiths Events, whose table styling helped bring the room together beautifully. It is always lovely to see how the different creative elements sit alongside one another and become part of the finished event.
From guests arriving through the draped entrance to photographs at the Mirror Booth and the Gold Shimmer surrounding the stage, the evening gave us plenty of opportunities to see our collection being used in different ways within one venue.
It was particularly lovely to create an event so close to home at The Assembly House in the centre of Norwich.
